One of my photographs, Clutching Kelp, was selected for inclusion in the British Wildlife Photography Awards collection 12 book, featured alongside the other competition winners. After having seven images shortlisted the previous year, this represented my strongest progression in the competition to date and marked the first time my work had been published in the official collection book. Being included was both encouraging and significant, as it demonstrated clear development in my photography and confirmed that my work could stand out within a highly competitive international field.

Although this recognition was not a formal award, inclusion in the collection marked an important milestone in my photographic journey. It provided tangible acknowledgement of progress, strengthened my confidence, and reinforced my commitment to developing technically strong, behaviour-focused wildlife imagery for future competitions and projects.
